Mentwire ("App", "Website", "We") is committed to protecting your information and maintaining your privacy. This Privacy Policy outlines the types of information we collect through this website, and how we use, manage, and protect that information.


By accessing this website, you accept our Privacy Policy, and you consent to our collection, storage, use, and disclosure of your information as described in this Privacy Policy.

Information We Collect

We collect "Non-Personal Information" and "Personal Information".


  1. Non-personal Information

    This includes information that cannot be used to personally identify you, such as anonymous usage data, general demographic information we may collect, referring/exit pages and URLs, platform types, preferences you submit and preferences that are generated based on the data you submit and number of clicks. We also use other website analytics tools provided by Google, Inc. and Cloudflare, Inc. to track non-identifying personal information that helps us understand our traffic sources and website usage.

  2. Personal Information

    If you register on mentwire with your email address and phone number, it is stored securely. If you are selected from the waitlist, you will receive an invitation to join mentwire's social platform. We may use your email address to send you newsletter updates and information about app development progress. For any paid features, we collect only the information necessary to process that payment (e.g. name, billing address, credit-card details). All payments are handled securely by our payment processor, Stripe, and we do not store your full payment credentials on our servers. Consent

  1. By providing your phone number, you consent to receive SMS/text messages from us for account creation, account access, or security purposes such as two-factor authentication and security alerts. Message and data rates may apply.

  2. When you enter your email address and phone number on mentwire, you provide explicit consent for us to collect the personal and non-personal information described in the Information We Collect section.

  3. Mentwire triggers Apple's Face ID to ensure published content in your name comes from you. All biometric processing is handled by your device's operating system. Mentwire does not collect, store, or transmit any face data or biometric information, and no such information is shared with third parties.

How We Use and Share Personal Information

  1. Non-Personal Information

    In general, we use Non-Personal Information to help us improve the Service and customize the user experience. We also aggregate Non-Personal Information in order to track trends and analyze use patterns on the Site. This Privacy Policy does not limit in any way our use or disclosure of Non-Personal Information and we reserve the right to use and disclose such Non-Personal Information to our partners, advertisers and other third parties at our discretion. In the event we undergo a business transaction such as a merger, acquisition by another company, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your Personal Information may be among the assets transferred. You acknowledge and consent that such transfers may occur and are permitted by this Privacy Policy, and that any acquirer of our assets may continue to process your Personal Information as set forth in this Privacy Policy. If our information practices change at any time in the future, we will post the policy changes to the Site so that you may opt out of the new information practices. We suggest that you check the Site periodically if you are concerned about how your information is used.

  2. Personal Information

    We may use your data to provide advertising services to you. We do share Personal Information with vendors who are performing services for the App, such as storing your email address securely, or using their servers for our email communications and who are provided access to user's email address for purposes of sending emails from us. In general, the Personal Information you provide to us is used to help us improve your experience on the app as well as to communicate with you. For example, we use Personal Information to contact users in response to questions, solicit feedback from users, provide technical support, and inform users about promotional offers. We may share Personal Information with outside parties if we have a good-faith belief that access, use, preservation or disclosure of the information is reasonably necessary to meet any applicable legal process or enforceable governmental request; to enforce applicable Terms of Service, including investigation of potential violations; address fraud, security or technical concerns; or to protect against harm to the rights, property, or safety of our users or the public as required or permitted by law.

How We Protect Information

We will take reasonable technical and organizational precautions to prevent the loss, misuse or alteration of your personal information. If we store any of your data, we will do so on secure servers.

Cross-border Data Transfers

Information that we collect may be stored and processed in and transferred between any of the countries in which we or our vendors or partners operate to enable the use of the information in accordance with this privacy policy. You agree to such cross-border transfers of personal information as and when we require.

Links to Other Websites

As part of the Service, we may provide links to or compatibility with other websites or applications. However, we are not responsible for the privacy practices employed by those websites or the information or content they contain. This Privacy Policy applies solely to information collected by us through the Site and the Service. Therefore, this Privacy Policy does not apply to your use of a third party website accessed by selecting a link on our Site or via our Service. To the extent that you access or use the Service through or on another website or application, then the privacy policy of that other website or application will apply to your access or use of that site or application. Children's Privacy

The Site and the Service are not directed to anyone under the age of 13. The Site does not knowingly collect or solicit information from anyone under the age of 13, or allow anyone under the age of 13 to sign up for the Service. In the event that we learn that we have gathered personal information from anyone under the age of 13 without the consent of a parent or guardian, we will delete that information as soon as possible. California Online Privacy Protection Act Notice

We currently do not track users, who interact with our Site, across the internet and therefore do not use "do not track" signals. There may be tracking signals used by any of our partners such as Google Analytics.

Regulatory Compliance

We seek to comply with laws and regulations protecting consumer privacy. Accordingly, you can contact us for any of the following rights you have on our Site:


  1. Right to be removed

    You may remove yourself from the waitlist and newsletter and app anytime. As stated in our Terms of Service, while your account will be deleted upon request, posts you made may stay to protect the data rights of those who have replied to those posts. Note that for any payments done, your transaction record is permanent on our payment processor and cannot be erased to comply with payment regulations.

  2. Right to request data

    You can request copies of relevant user data we retain for you at any time. Some data, such as reasoning scores and the methodologies used to calculate them, are proprietary and not subject to disclosure.

An "unsubscribe" option is automatically included in the footer of every newsletter sent from us. This allows you to easily unsubscribe from the newsletter.


Non-Discrimination

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights. We may offer different tiers of service and pricing:


  1. We may offer discounted prices or other financial incentives in exchange for the collection, sale, or deletion of personal information with your voluntary consent, which can be revoked at any time.

  2. Service may be denied if you fail to fulfill your obligations such as payment as outlined in our terms and conditions or subscription agreements.

  3. We may provide different levels or qualities of goods or services based on the subscription plan you choose, which are available to all users regardless of their exercise of privacy rights.

The nature of the services provided by us, requires basic information including your email address in order for us to provide our services. Should you opt out entirely, we will be unable to provide you any of our services.

Changes to Our Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to change this policy. We will notify you of significant changes to our Privacy Policy by placing an update notice on our site. Significant changes will go into effect 7 days following such notification. Non-material changes or clarifications will take effect immediately.
